"Range Free is truly one of a kind. I’m so appreciative that it’s one of the very few (if not the only) completely gluten-free and allergy-friendly places not just in Columbia, but honestly in the state. I’ve rarely come across places like this, and it makes such a difference for people with dietary restrictions to feel genuinely safe and included. Beyond the food, the staff is absolutely awesome. Everyone is so kind, welcoming, and thoughtful. The space itself is warm and inviting, perfect for getting some work done, meeting a friend, or just stopping in for a quick treat. This is a special place, and I really hope more people discover it so they can continue to grow. Would love to see more late or coffee items:) The must gets are the no bake cookies and bagels with dairy free cream cheese! Everything is so fresh and Columbia is lucky to have Range Free!"

"i always stop by here when i’m traveling through town. their offerings are solid, about of the quality one might expect of a GF bakery in a medium sized town in middle america. when i first came here, the service was lovely, but the last two times it was middling to awful. today the young woman at the counter didn’t greet me, barely responded when i asked about her day, didn’t say anything more when she spun the register around for my payment, and said literally nothing as we concluded the transaction. i could see that the owner was a few feet away and she said nothing to be as i tried to engage her in a friendly manner. i might expect this in some major mall in an urban context, but after a day of patronizing CoMo businesses with the most friendly and cheerful of people, this really stood out. i am now remembering another time that i was here last and was underwhelmed by rather chilly service, too. not sure if this is the usual, but as someone who regularly chats up any customer service person and engages with warmth, i am really turned off by this. i won’t be making a point to stop again."

"we ordered a half-dozen allergy friendly cupcakes to ensure our GF/DF wedding guests could celebrate with us. our friends and family who received the cupcakes said they were some of the best they'd ever had, and were so happy to finally be able to partake in dessert at a wedding. range free was very easy to work with and i thought the price was very fair, knowing those with celiac or major allergies would be safe!"

"Great food and friendly service make it easy to support this local small business. This café caters to specialty diets like nothing I've ever seen before, and as someone without those problems, I was hard-pressed to notice. Best of all, the prices are perfectly in line with standard cafés elsewhere. What a great find!"
