"The clothing at this store is made with eco-friendly fabrics and dyes, and everything feels very comfortable and high-quality. The staff member was also incredibly kind and helpful. I accidentally left my phone in the fitting room yesterday, and he had already run halfway down the street to return it to me. Big thanks to him!"
"beautifully dyed basics made of natural fibers. the clothes you want on your body — well fitting and soft soft soft!"
"I am all for ethical clothing, minimal, comfortable, practical, and this brand it all of that and more. It's transparent and they honor and respect where the material comes from and the people who make it into clothing. That is respect right there. I like to buy from real people and they are always open to telling me if something is limited and why and that is completely understandable. It makes you appreciate things more. As for customer service at this shop, Cici helped me out the times that I went in. She is literally a super hero that is genuine, kind, detail-oriented, organized, knowledgeable, and over all attentive. That was the best customer service ever -- never have I ever felt so helped like that in my life. I respect and appreciate the time and attention that she provided and I ended up with a huge successful shopping experience. Honestly, I am really grateful for her help. I am now ready for winter in San Francisco and for the harsh winters in Sweden, also for some occasional spring weather, too. I am extremely happy -- beyond grateful. The other day the founder came in and again, just to know that there are real people with good core values is just amazing. That is what business should be about..it is always good to know who you do business with as much as one can."
"The dyes they use (especially the black iron vinegar one) smell gross. I tried returning shirts after I noticed the smell and they wouldn’t let me. The shirts also looked way worse after one wash on cold, and the smell leached onto my other clothes in the wash."
"I really love everything in this store and its commitment to sustainability. That said, I have been in the store a handful of times and it always gives me the creeps. I want to get out of here as fast as possible. Something about the store design — the stock taking up 50% of the space and just a single rail all the way down with each piece — and the staff looming over you, not speaking to you or each other, no music playing, makes it feel impossible to enjoy it here. I always feel like I’m interrupting something when I walk in. Plenty of other stores of this size on Hayes has figured out how to let people shop without it feeling so eerie. Will come back here to try stuff on if I’m unsure of sizing, but for anything else I’ll be ordering online."
