"I would have rated UpChoose highly based on the clothes alone. However, I am seeing that others have had a similar experience upon attempt to cancellation. They have been overcharging me for months after I had changed plans months ago. When trying to cancel the plan, they were impossible to get ahold of, didn't respond to multiple text and email attempts, and didn't even provide a box/bag for returning my items and told me to "find something" to return my items. In trying to reach out regarding the overcharging, I have record of over 12 attempts to reach out with absolutely 0 response. I am extremely disappointed, and will now have to take action to try and recoup funds that were not authorized. Highly disappointed in how the service promotes exceptional customer service, I would have thought they would want to garner customer loyalty-- I was hoping to use them as a gift for other parents and for future kids, I will not be returning. It feels very sketchy and like fraud for a company that seems to promoting a this image of being inclusive, "helpful"..... I have found that through this process they are anything but not. Do NOT rent. Would recommend finding another service that is more reliable, trustworthy, and isn't trying to scam customers."
"Big scam!! Zero communication, responsiveness, accountability and ownership. We have gotten 3 sets so far… Every single set was delayed with no prior communication and follow ups. They would respond after we reached out through multiple texts and finally sent those sets. For the last set, there had been no response to queries about the delay despite several texts and messages on portal over the past month. It’s been impossible to reach out to them. Yet they continue charging for the existing set. It’s insane! I would recommend staying away from them."
"I love dressing my baby in UpChoose clothing. We get the pre-loved clothes in earth tones. The styles are beautiful and the fabrics feel good. My baby looks amazing in quality clothing that I wouldn’t otherwise be able to afford. When he starts to outgrow the clothes I schedule the next delivery with clothing the next size up. It’s a relief to send the too-small clothes back without having to decide whether to store, give away, or throw away the items. I like imagining the other babies who will wear the clothes next. They also have the best customer service!"
"I have been trying to cancel my account since October. No one will answer my messages on their website, text or calls. I have screenshots of my requests to cancel and have sent back all the clothes two months ago and they are still charging me. Thank god I have American Express who have no blocked these charges but this company is a scam do not use it!!"
"I subscribed to Upchoose in August. After the estimated delivery/shipment date that was on their website and I had not heard anything did I then reach out to customer support and was informed my order was still under production. I received an email almost 2 weeks later with a tracking number stating my order shipped. They proceeded to take another payment from my account (September) and the tracking link stated USPS was still awaiting my order (now another 2-3 weeks later). I reached out to customer service and they stated it was their mistake and they would ship my order the same day they responded. After checking the link throughout the day I contacted customer support again inquiring as the status of my order and have now received no response and it has been a week. Very disappointed as I was looking forward to receiving clothes through this company for my little one."
