"Natural Grocers does NOT uphold the “world class customer service” they advertise. One cashier in particular, Ember, has consistently been rude during multiple visits. There’s no greeting, the interaction feels rushed, and their attitude comes across as irritated every time. I’ve also overheard snarky comments directed at coworkers, which just adds to the uncomfortable environment. What’s disappointing is that this has happened on several occasions, so it’s clearly not a one off moment. At this point I’m sure other customers have experienced the same thing. I’m honestly surprised this behavior hasn’t been addressed, and it makes me not want to shop somewhere that allows this kind of atmosphere. A lot of the staff are friendly but after being met with same problem time and time again it starts to outweigh the good. I’ve been a loyal customer for years and it’s been frustrating to watch the quality of this location decline. I really hope Natural Grocers gets it together."

"I've been a loyal customer of Natural Grocers in Columbia since before they relocated, and I'm consistently impressed by their selection of organic produce and allergy-friendly snacks and frozen meals. However, my recent interactions with a cashier named Ember at the checkout have been disappointing. While I appreciate her efficiency and don’t generally mind her briefness my last few encounters with her have been unpleasant. On my last trip I was asked by Ember if I wanted to donate to the food bank, and when I replied with “no thank you” I got a loud annoyed sigh back. Moreover I expect a store that promotes health and wellness to have staff who are helpful and welcoming, which generally most of the staff there are. However Ember’s attitude, eye-rolling, and poor hygiene practices while handling produce and body odor have been very off-putting. And after a quick look at other customers reviews I see this is a common occurrence from her. I genuinely love this store! And hope bringing this to attention will have good change."

"Confidence in the produce and products. Great, friendly, knowledgable employees. Toni is always friendly, helpful and the best dressed employee. Ever. Employees like him. Abi walked me right to the product saving me many minutes looking for it. I was grateful she asked."
