"Huuuuuge fan because they supplied a pre cooked thanksgiving meal that absolutely rocked. It was delicious. The turkey was perfect. There was sooo much, it fed 12 with a ton of leftovers and wasn't even expensive?! How does this exist in the bay? Protect this place!"

"One of the best grocery stores in the East Bay. The butchers counter has to be seen to be believed. The cheese selection is incredible and the produce is amazing. I also love the salad and hot bar. A local institution."

"I love Piedmont Grocery, but I can’t shop here anymore. Why? It’s so expensive even compared to the Farmers Market at the Ferry Building. Broccoli - $5 Ferry Building - $8.49 Piedmont Grocery. - $4.39 Berkeley Bowl. Radicchio $5 Ferry Building - $11.29 Piedmont Grocery - $5 Berkeley Bowl. When I asked someone why it’s so expensive at Piedmont they told me because they don’t buy in bulk. But why then is the Farmers Market at The Ferry Building cheaper ? I’m so sorry, but it’s not sustainable to shop here anymore."

"My favorite grocery when we visit our daughter. Their wine selection is curated and someone is usually around to help you choose. Their meat counter and cheese counter are both amazing. During my first visit a few years ago, I was shocked by the selection of feta. My town has two at the most. They must have had 5-6. I love getting fresh bread every day and finding at least 4-5 different kinds of fresh mushrooms in produce. Love this place."
