"I enjoy coming here even though I live 45 minutes away. There used to be a refill store closer but they closed. I don’t want to lose this refill treasure, it’s worth the drive! I get all of my food refills like olive oil, maple syrup, coconut oil and any spices or seasonings I need. I love that they have a large amount of organic products! I get all my kitchen and laundry cleaners here. I even get my go to body oils that I can mix and customize; with out the added fragrances. The staff is a friendly and helpful. I forgot my punch card on my last visit and they said to make sure they give me an extra punch on my next visit! I also appreciate they label the new items with stickers so I can see what’s new! Pro tip, get their black bags they sell with dividers for all of your refill containers especially if you use glass. Helps prevent jars from hitting together and breaking."

"Love the concept. So environmental friendly. I bought 4 oz pepper mint essential oil, and it's so much better than the one I got on Amazon. Love it."

"I love finding all the hidden gems in this shop, as well as my regular go-tos for a sustainable home. I get my greywater safe detergent (not easy to find!) here, as well as floor cleaner and I love that I'm not having to buy a big jug every time for those large volume items. Their kitchen area is my favorite. My dish cleaning regimen is entirely from Re-Up - the dish block soap, liquid soap, scrubber brushes, coco coir scrubbie, and bamboo scraper. Some things are pricey, so I can't always afford to buy everything I want to, but it's really awesome being able to find products that are better for the earth. Staff is always friendly, too."

"The Re-Up Refill Shop is doing us a great service, and my hope is that everyone takes advantage of it. Our household now disposes of way less plastic every month ( no more throw away of large laundry detergent and dish soap containers and shampoo containers etc) and the products are high quality and sourced from vendors that prioritize sustainability. The cooking oils and maple syrup and sesame oil are our favorites (after the amazing chocolate pecan clusters). The location is also close to many other shops, markets cafes and bakeries (even a pharmacy) so it’s easy to refill up quickly on the way to shopping for other items all in one trip."

"Wow! I wish I had a better experience. I walked in and went to the counter as I had a gift from my daughter who loves this place. The woman (I have to say a Caucasian woman because it might have to do with me being Latina?) she told me immediately how I couldn't this and that. I had to stop her and tell her, literally "hey, let's work as a team" as it turns out I was able to use my credit in spite of her protests and refilled but man, it seemed like every bit of information was like pulling teeth. As it turned out I ended up spending $60+ because I do believe in the concept. Ironically a Caucasian women stepped inside to asked questions the counter woman and another Caucasian man were so happy to answer her questions and she walked out without buying a thing. I'll be hard pressed to go again. I know there are couple more in the east bay. I'll try them before I go again. UPDATE- I have to say that Carly, co owner has been so kind in her response and effort to make this right. Thank you Carly and I look forward to future visits."
