"Had to get a lot of meat for a charcuterie board at the deli and Coby was patient with me and made sure my order was done perfectly! Thank you so much! Will be coming again soon for the excellent service!"
"For weeks now, I’ve gone without. A piece of me torn from within. It’s been painful crossing the frozen aisles longing for a Dijornio Supreme Pizza and to see empty shelf space instead. Tonight it hit hard. The craving was there, and I realized Smiths may never restock that savory flavor ever again. I wanted to ask if there were any in the back, but I feared knowing the answer. My rating a 1 star. But this will easily be switched to a 5 when the Dojornio Supreme pizzas return. A rising crust, would rise my spirits."
"This may sound really coarse, however I have had enough with the lack of decent customer service; almost anywhere. We shop at Smiths often, we even pay the higher prices just to patronize this business. We choose to shop here, however my recent experiences with the pharmacy at the store on 14th and Harrison has me re-thinking our investment. Earlier today my wife picked up meds in the drive-thru, which is lengthy on a good day. She asked for her scripts, received her product and left. When she arrived at home to start unloading her afternoon she realized she had only been given two of the three items she was charged for. No big deal right, well after two calls to techs who where busy being go-betweens to the pharmacist and the phone call we were told the missing script had been scanned out. The insurance was charged and a refill couldn't be made as its a controlled substance. No offer to audit, check the video, or simply offer a continual effort; it was case closed. They had done their job...they scanned it so we must have taken it. At this point I'm at a loss as to whether I make a complaint to my insurance, call the sheriffs drug task force over mis-distributed drugs or go down and put the pharmacy on blast for their incompetence to resolve an issue. An issue that would require some patience from both sides, which we would gladly do. But to just deny any wrong doing is B.S. Would we even get an apology if the scripts were returned, at this point I doubt it. We don't doubt they were given out! But to who? We typically enjoy shopping at this store, the meat is always on point, and the produce is some of the best around. We've always felt the wait, the prices and the convenience of the location outweighs going to a discount super store. However there is another store far less busy on our way to and from this one, would we be missed? Probably not but at least our dignity would be intact. As much as most of us are making the "dream" of life happen we certainly don't deserve to be treated with such little respect. Mistakes can be made, when an institution claims "nothing can be done" they've already given up! Why would I settle for that type of service? Smith's...You can do better!"
"Check your receipt. The cashiers too often overlook 50% discount stickers. Discount for bakery is NOT automatic. Too too often they fail to honor discount sticker. But that is only one category checkout issue. Important! Warning! Check receipt before you leave store. It is a game to find Smith's error of the week. The mistakes are tricky and far too common. Almost every time I find an error. Certainly about half the time there is a problem with mistakes on receipt. This happens too often to overlook. Customer service a joke. Wait wait wait even if there is a person at "Customer Service". Employees who walk by as they see you wait will offer false hope of somebody coming soon. Do not believe them. This store is as undependable as their plastic bags. This place, this Smith both grocery and pharmacy certainly needs a better manager that will focus on customer experience and employee training."
"I had three coupons one for a free cranberry juice, one for $.50 off two candy bars and one for a dollar off ice cream and use them all on a self check out when I wanted to swap one of the candies out for a different one instead of two Reeses, I asked for help and the lady immediately said oh we can’t do that when I wanted to swap it out for a Hershey’s Almond and then immediately accuse me of stealing/tampering with coupons and said where is the coupons I said in the bag after I scanned them and she’s rudely said you have to give the coupons to To them, the system was literally gonna let me pay for it and walk out and I’ve never had the self check out. Tell me to give them the coupons back so maybe your system is glitching Smith’s. I asked for a manager and while she was going over she rudely was talking to another employee about me right in front of me the customer I was offended and I’m autistic and I go to the Smiths all the time I’m from Ogden all my life, and I’ve never been treated so rudely There this makes me not want to go back to this smith ever again. The manager was very rude and then finally exchanged the recess for the almond joy on the coupon because a family member called and said they didn’t want another recess. I know I’m complaining about something simple here but the customer service they need to work on it and fix The self check out and Change out the product the customer wants then asked for the coupons when it’s time to pay if they need the coupons back, she rudely acted like I was gonna walk out with the coupons. Well, the system was gonna let me walk out with the coupons and I never knew that policy because I always use the self check out and it’s never asked me to turn it in and they said a message pops up so maybe their system changed I mean it’s literally 2025. I don’t understand the coupons should be voided out. On the barcode, the lady handled it so totally rudely and the manager stuck up for her and not de-escalate the situation. Then the other bigger manager came over and de-escalate the situation and helped me and he is amazing and fix the issue and was very helpful and I said I need a receipt And the lady worker rudely talked across the way saying it’s right there in the machine they have no autism training whatsoever when I stated I had autism. They seemed to not care and they kept saying I’m sorry how you feel the head up manager. Did a wonderful job the first manager didn’t and the worker lady was rude so I hope higher management or corporate looks into this. They need to retrain that lady she should’ve not just jumped rudely and said we need your coupons back In such a rude way, she should’ve said nicely. Let’s fix this and change out the candy bar and then I’m gonna need the coupons from you nicely. But when the first manager came over, he was able to void Change The candy bar to a different candy bar when the lady said she couldn’t do it in the beginning with Then I asked her for a manager and that’s when she flipped out and a manager did it right away and was still mean And then the other manager, like I said was very kind and nice If only I didn’t mess up on the candy bar, they wouldn’t have all this rude mess From them"
