"Beautiful interior and use of space. You order before seating yourself or can use the fool service bar. The food is amazing! You can tell it's fresh and they take pride in what you are served. Made to order dishes that are well thought out and complement each other fantastically. We visited on a chilly winter day and were delighted with the warm comfort of their lunch options. Definitely will return! The staff are friendly and attentive. We even took a to go order a co-worker placed online back with us. They worked on it immediately after receipt printed. Just such a good vibe here. Try it!"

"Brick & Tin in Birmingham continues to prove why it’s such a standout. Everything we ordered was thoughtful, comforting, and executed at an incredibly high level. We started with the Harvest Farms Collard Green Dip, and it was unreal. A rich, cozy blend of butternut squash and creamed collard greens, baked until bubbly with three cheeses, then served with warm, toasted focaccia. It was hearty, savory, and just indulgent enough—Southern comfort meets fall flavors in the best possible way. The kind of appetizer you keep “just one more bite”-ing until it’s gone. The butternut squash soup was silky, perfectly seasoned, and deeply satisfying—pure comfort in a bowl. The Chicken & Tin sandwich was exceptional: flash-fried chicken, crispy and juicy, layered with house-made pickles, Swiss, and a tangy honey mustard on soft pain de mie flatbread. Perfect balance, perfect bite. And the Fall Turkey Melt sealed the deal—smoked turkey, melty Swiss, chopped collards, and a bold remoulade on rye. Smoky, savory, and soulful, it felt like fall on a plate. Brick & Tin delivers elevated comfort food with heart, soul, and serious flavor. If you’re in Birmingham and don’t eat here, you’re doing yourself a disservice. This place is special."

"Ya’ll!! You gotta go here. The fall butternut squash soup is amazing! The fall smoked turkey panini was so good. Also had the bluebird salad with grilled chicken… yum! Great selection of craft cocktails and they even have breakfast! Outside seats too."

"Great lunch spot in downtown Birmingham. I what’s getting my haircut and had some time to grab a quick lunch. This was the perfect spot. I had the brick & tin chicken sandwich. IT WAS SO GOOD. It had their homemade pickles and homemade honey mustard on a delicious flat bread. Wow. Another star on the menu is the pea salad. It is a cold salad of different peas, tomatoes, and cucumbers. So good. I wanted more. I can’t wait ti go back when I have more time to enjoy other times."

"Brick & Tin in Birmingham strikes a pleasing balance between casual charm and conscientious cuisine. From the start, you sense its farm-to-table ethos: the menu emphasizes locally sourced ingredients and humane, additive-free meats. One of the highlights is how flexible they are: soups, paninis, salads, small plates, and full entrées provide enough variety to satisfy both light-lunch seekers and diners craving something more substantial. Their brisket panini draws particular praise—tender meat, caramelized onions, and a well-balanced sauce—while seasonal soups (especially the butternut squash) are often lauded for their comforting warmth and depth."
