"We bought a king mattress, topper, pillow, sheet set and wood bed frame from this business. The slats on this frame are warped and making a lot of noise but after bringing this to the owners attention, he is refusing to acknowledge the issue and also has not come by to even look at it. Instead he has been rude. He eventually did offer a return but would charge us a 20% restocking fee which is not acceptable for a faulty product. He was friendly and happy to sell us his products until there was an issue. Just like another reviewer stated….it seems like a good business until there is an issue with the product they are selling. I wish I had gone directly through the manufacturer Savvy Rest to buy the mattress because they are most wonderful. I wanted to support a local business but regret it very much!!"

"I can't begin to express how informative and helpful Organic Living is. It is one of my favorite places! They are extremely knowledgable and make things easy. We've been shopping at the store for over a decade! They've helped us find the perfect mattresses for our family & the best air purification system. Recently we had a situation with our air quality & Gerard went above and beyond to help us, and determined what we needed to make our air safe. He is an indoor air expert and I'm so grateful for all of his help and knowing that someone so knowledgeable is available to help with something so important like our family's health. "My son and I found Organic Living after a prolonged toxic mold exposure at our house. Because of the mold, I had to throw out our beds and we are now both chemically sensitive. After the mold problem was fixed, I went in search of healthy beds. I had bought a bed for my son that was all natural from another store but after three weeks, the smell of the wool was still really bothering us, so I had to return his mattress and I cancelled my order for the bed for myself. I was at a loss as to what to do but thankfully found Organic Living. Gerard and Nathalie worked with us to find two beds that are just perfect. My son's bed has some wool and I was concerned about reacting to this bed too. Gerard has worked with so many chemically sensitized people that he had just the solution. When my son's bed came in, we went in to the store to smell the mattress. It was much better than the first bed I had purchased and returned but there was still a faint wool smell. Gerard wanted us to be totally happy and have no reaction to our beds, so he hooked up his air purifier through the mattress bag and removed all of the wool smell from the bed. A week later, he and his helper brought both beds to us and set them up. There is no smell to either bed and we haven't slept this well in years. I can't thank Gerard enough! When I buy another house, I am coming back to Organic Living to create a super healthy home using the materials and knowledge that Gerard and Nathalie have at their amazing store! So, if you are having health struggles or just want to keep yourself incredibly healthy, I highly recommend Organic Living!"

"This review is for my experience with purchase of organic king size mattress. I wanted to replace my non-organic mattess with a new one. I saw many options online but wa ted to test one I person. I got one which felt like a good option. However, after a few weeks I knew it was too firm. I gave it another couple of weeks to be sure. Since returning or replacing for a less firm was not an option at this store, I was offered to buy a more expensive latex mattress instead. I have only had memory foam mattresses before, so was new to latex. Given no other choice, I went with the upgrade. After a few days I knew something was off but thought to give it more time in case my body adjusts to the new texture of latex plus I had a few trips coming up. Having a chance to compare was key, because everywhere I went I had a good night sleep on a memory foam mattress. After contacting the store with the issue I was suggested to try all possible combinations of layers between soft, medium and firm (latex mattress comes in layers). Even though each layer is heavy to manipulate I did as suggested but with no success. I have felt more body aches and back pain than before getting this mattress and wake up tired. Mattress, especially organic, is an investment and has to be the right fit. Ability to return, even for a fee, is essential for customer satisfaction. I hope others read this review before buying a mattress at this store as you may be stuck with a ~$3000 mattress with no way of returning it."
