"PEAS Farm Party 2021 was great fun! Waited for a long, long, long time to order a locally sourced lamb dish from the Nomad food truck, then toured the farm, tasting fresh sweet corn, naturally spicey tomatoes (without any seasonings!), crisp cukes, crunchy dragon's tongue beans. Finally got my lamb with rice and tiny lentils, homemade pita, chamouli, zhoug, and yogurt (the recommended sides); found a picnic table and dined while listening to the band. Went back for a vanilla raspberry twist cone from the Dreamy truck; waited a long, long, long time surrounded by spinning children sticking dollars up their big sister's nose and hiding from raindrops under her shirt-tails while screaming like gargoyles. It was great! (I am way over 60, so these things never happen to me anymore.) Some politely asked if they could pet my fluffy-tailed sweet freckle-faced golden border collie/shepherd/heeler emotional support dog, and I said "no" because she dislikes children and will turn into a gremlin monster when touched by one. They accepted my answer, and that was helpful. Can we please have a PEAS Farm party again?"
